House Republicans may have to wait to pass a sweeping bill advancing much of President Trump’s domestic agenda, as a number of lawmakers demand changes and won’t vote for the Senate-passed version. Democrats strongly oppose the bill over proposed Medicaid and food assistance cuts, with Catholic Congressman Darren Soto citing moral concerns, while GOP leaders argue the bill protects the most vulnerable. Republicans aim to pass the bill in time for President Trump to sign it into law by July 4th.
